I keep thinking about my website and what it does to help me document my work and creative efforts. Sometimes I think it is just a distraction and makes me put off creating. Other times, I like to look at what I have made in the past to see how my tastes have changed. I seem to be much more focused on the “modern” movement and making items that are very geometric. My latest finish was Raspberry Delight. North Texas Quilt Festival had a challenge category for Monochromatic. I chose the fabrics at Houston International Quilt Festival and then decided the pattern. Of course I had to order some additional fabric once I had the design! It ended up close to the original design (I can’t even follow my own pattern) and I handed it off to Debbie Schulze to do the quilting. She turned what was a good design into a masterpiece of modern quilting! I don’t know how she sees the designs outside of the piecing.
