I really need to prioritize being creative above sitting idle. I have been working on some cool stuff lately, but not getting from start to finish. Finish was my goal last year. I didn’t do too well, but this is still hanging on my wall for inspiration.

I have been working on some projects that are way overdue. I am still working on a project I started many years ago that is for our bed. I thought I finally had all of the pieces together and I put it up on the wall to make sure the colors worked as well as I planned. I found that I had pieced 4 sections in the opposite direction. More ripping and re-piecing to do.

My next task is to complete the 3 quilts I entered into the very first North Texas Quilt Festival. I have some beautiful quilt tops, but only one that has been quilted since I sent it off for someone else to do. Maybe I should have sent the other 2 as well. July, you have to slow down on the weekends.
